FOUNDING COUNCIL MEMBER Millie Haaf, a founding council member and secretary of the church corporation, was honored with roses for her 10 years of dedication and council service at the 10th Anniversary Celebration of Church of Joy. 'She was our Mother Teresa" says Dr. Rich Dorst when speaking of Millie. Her contributions to the council were invaluable. She was one of the most active recruiters of members to the church and brought over two dozen people to the faith through her witness. She retired from the council shortly before passing to be with her Lord on January 8, 2007. |
